It's smaller than other models on this list which makes it easier to maneuver in tight corners and under furniture. It features a 220 degree lidar, which when combined with its 3D Matrix camera system gives it some of the best navigation and obstacle avoidance I've ever seen in a robotic vacuum. It has a 4600mAh battery which can last up to 170 minutes when mopping and sucking is set to standard mode. (It can be more efficient when using turbo). It can even return to its dock to recharge its battery in mid-clean.
It's extremely fast and does an excellent job cleaning my two-bedroom apartment. It vacuums carpeted rooms quickly and hardwood floors in the living room, kitchen and hallways in just one pass. Its 8,000pa motor is able to clean dirt as well as pet hair and even droppings with ease. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it encounters rugs and the two side brushes help pull out dirt from corners.
The mopping efficiency is less impressive, though not by much. The mop rotates at a high rate and pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, effortlessly scraping away dirt and staining. The only drawback is that the S1 Pro must use a specific cleaning solution to perform its mopping function and is sold separately from the vacuum. It is simple to install, and it works well. However should you purchase this robot vacuum to mop, you will need to pay attention to this.

The Yiko X1 Omni
The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum that mops in our review, however it comes with some distinctive features that are worth a look. The X1 Omni's most appealing feature is its huge dock, which serves as the robot's charging base and the housing for two 4 liter water tanks, a sink for cleaning, and a 2.5-liter dust bin that automatically eliminates.
The base also has a number of control buttons that allow you to start a cleaning task or recall the robot or use the dock's automatic emptying process. Hold down two buttons to switch off the child lock. This is a great feature for parents who are worried about their kids messing around with the vacuum.
The Omni Omni like other robotic vacuums, uses its camera to identify furniture and obstacles in its path. It will avoid them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.
This can cause the X1 to get stuck if it gets entangled in an obstacle, such as a power cable draped over a rug. It won't work until you untangle it manually. This is a rare event however, it was a bit frustrating because the X1 doesn't have an "stuck status" alert on its application.
The X1 Omni cannot automatically switch from mopping mode to vacuuming mode during cleaning. You'll need to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't too bad however, the mopping pad doesn't get cleaned or dried between uses. This can lead to mildew and mold.
On the positive side it's worth noting that the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot, thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who conceptualized its modern and sleek base as well as mopping pad apparatus. It's a major departure from the utilitarian, all-black bases that are used by rivals like Roborock and iRobot and is a refreshing appearance in a market that is dominated by bulky, boxy units.
